“OceaniX” is a cute puzzle game, pretty easy to play and mainly oriented to children, you could say .

The game takes you to an underwater world, invited by a Captain, in which you have to solve many puzzles in different levels. No much help available, only some hints that pop-up depending on what situation you are. That’s because the game is extremely easy to play, so you don’t need much help whatsoever.
The objective of “OceaniX” is to create matches of adjacent tiles with the same elements on it. There are shelves, pearls and starfishes. The twist in this game, and what makes it so easy to play, is that in fact you don’t create the matches. What you do is calling them by clicking on them when you see them on the board. Of course, you need to be clever to take the most advantage of each situation on the board. When you call the match, those tiles disappear from the board and are filled up with new tiles. This create a new situation to watch a new decisions to make. You have to complete the amount of tiles required to pass the level before the time is over, otherwise you lose.
When you first enter the game, you’ll see the welcome screen with the following options on it:
- Change Player: after you create one or more players, they’ll be saved. When you enter into this submenu, you’ll be asked for a name as a new player. It’s possible to have a list of different players and record their performance. This way, you can play home tournaments with family and friends.
- New Game: this option leads you to the first level of the game and you’ll be seeing a brief hint to explain how to play.
- Continue: this option allows you to continue with your saved game, in case you have one.
- Options: this is the menu from which you can set some game options like, sound volume and music volume.
- Credits and Quit: no further explanation required.
